Students study the methods and devices of measurement of aircraft parameters, different aircraft devices, complexes and systems, methods of their designing, control and diagnostics, manufacturing procedure.

Specialization: information measuring systems of transport means.

Students study methods and devices of measurement of operational parameters of different systems and motion of automobiles, computer systems for control, monitoring and diagnostics of its systems, methods of their design, control and diagnostics, manufacturing procedure.

Brief annotation of the major subject:

It delivers principles, methods and means of measurements of physical quantities, their metrological support and unity of measurements .Students study physical and mathematical bases of metrology as a science about the measurements, general and specificl methods of measurements, principles of measurements of mechanical, electrical, thermo-technical, geometric, radio-technical, optical and other physical quantities, as well as analog and digital means of measurements, automatic and intellectual means of measurements, data-measuring systems and their metrological support.

The training of students is conducted according to three specializations:

-      metrology and metrological support;

-      testing, control and certification of products and services;

-      measurement in commercial and owner's activity.
